THE
BRNO SIXTEEN is a five day long international competition of selected
short non-commercial live-action fiction film organised by the Brno
Cultural Centre and The B16 and Alternative Film Society.
|
|
| |
|
The international jury is a 5-member team composed
of 3 Czechs and 2 foreign members (directors, publicists, teachers,
organisers of other festivals, etc.)
The student jury is composed of students of film
studies, fine arts studies, and journalism from the Faculties of Arts
and Social Studies of Masaryk University Brno; in the last two years,
it has been an international jury.
The jury for the awarding of the BKC Director's Prize is appointed by
the director of BKC on the basis of his own decision, and is usually
partially represented by the festival selection committee.
The Petr Hvižď Prize is awarded by members of the B16 and Alternative
Film Society, who are also members of the festival selection committee.
